What is the Amazon Partnered Carrier program?

The Amazon Partnered Carrier Program (PCP) offers competitive shipping rates, the convenience of buying and printing shipping labels when you create shipments, shipment pick up and automated tracking.

This service is available for sellers that use Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) or Multi-Channel Fulfilment wishing to send small parcel deliveries from eligible Australian postcodes to Amazon fulfilment centres in Australia using the Send to Amazon workflow.

An Amazon Partnered Carrier will pick up the shipment from you and deliver it to the designated Amazon fulfilment centre where your products will be stored until we pick, pack and ship them to fulfil a customer order.

You receive competitive shipping rates to send inventory from an eligible Australian postcode to an Amazon Australian fulfilment centre.

Seamless inbound process

You can create your FBA shipment, pay for shipping costs and track the status of your shipment all in Seller Central, removing the need to visit an external website or engage a third-party carrier.

Door-to-Door pick-up and delivery

Once you create your shipment, the Amazon Partnered Carrier will automatically pick up your shipment according to the pick-up schedule below, and deliver it to the Australian fulfilment centre. You do not need to separately engage or schedule pick up directly with the Amazon Partnered Carrier.

Fast inbound

With the Amazon Partnered Carrier service, your FBA shipments will be promptly delivered to the fulfilment centre, which may help make your inventory available to customers sooner than some other carriers.

Partnered Carrier Program (PCP): How does it work?

Create your PCP shipment using the Send to Amazon workflow and select the partnered carrier
The Amazon partnered carrier will collect your shipment from an eligible AU postcode
The Amazon partnered carrier will deliver your shipment to an Amazon Fulfilment Centre

How to use Amazon Partnered Carrier program

Step 1

Create your FBA shipment using Send to Amazon.

Step 2

In Step 1 of the workflow, enter the address that you want your shipment picked up from in the “Ship from” address field. To edit/update the pick-up address, click “Ship from another address”. Ensure you enter the correct “Ship From” address as you will not be able to change your pick-up address after creating your shipment.

Step 3

Ensure that you enter the correct box dimensions and weight as this information is used to generate your shipping charges.

Step 4

In Step 2, after reviewing your shipment, select the date you expect to hand off inventory to the carrier, confirm the inventory you want to send and select the Amazon Partnered Carrier option as the ‘shipping carrier’. This option will be available for small parcel deliveries that meet the eligibility requirements of this service noted above.

Important:

The ‘ship date’ that you select in Step 2 of the Send to Amazon workflow will not impact the date or time that your shipment is picked up. The Amazon Partnered Carrier will follow the pick-up schedule noted below.

Step 5

Before you ‘Accept charges and confirm shipping’, take a moment to check all the information you entered is correct and that your boxes are ready to be picked up in accordance with the pick-up schedule below.

Important:

You can cancel your Amazon Partnered Carrier shipment up to 1 hour after approving the shipping charges with no charge.

Step 6

In Step 3, click “Print” shipping label.

Step 7

Prepare your shipment in accordance with our FBA packaging and prep requirements and affix the shipping labels to your box(es).

Step 8

The Amazon Partnered Carrier will automatically pick-up your shipment from your specified “ship from” address based on the pick-up schedule below. You do not need to separately schedule pick up with the Amazon Partnered Carrier.

Amazon Partnered Carrier Pick Up Schedule

The Amazon Partnered Carrier will pick your shipment from the address provided in the ‘Ship From’ text box in step 1 of the Send to Amazon workflow. Do not select the Amazon Partnered Carrier until your shipment is ready for pickup. The carrier will pick up the shipment between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time within next two business days after you created the shipment. If the carrier is unable to pick the shipment or if the shipment is not ready for dispatch on the first pick up attempt, then the Amazon Partnered Carrier will attempt to pick up on the following business day. If this does not occur, then contact Selling Partner Support.

You will not be able to change the pickup date or time once submitted. You cannot request a specific date or time for pick up or delivery to the Amazon fulfilment centres.
