Selling generic products on Amazon
How do you sell unbranded products on Amazon?
An unbranded product is one that is not protected by a trade name or trademark. All products sold on Amazon require a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number), such as a UPC, EAN, JAN or ISBN. In some instances, you can apply for a GTIN exception when certain requirements are met.
You can visit GS1 Australia to obtain a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) for an unbranded product, or sign into Seller Central to apply for a GTIN exemption.

What about selling digital products on Amazon?
All products sold in Australia via Seller Central must be physical products that can be shipped to customers.
